Medical Camp at Budhakhane Village, Kavre

CHFN has organized a Medical Camp at Budhakhane village of Kavre District.

2 Medical Doctors, 1 Gynecologist and 3 Nurses were hired to provide service for the Medical Camp. The medical service was provided in association with a local government school named Grammonati Secondary School.

From the survey previously done by one of our team, critical issues of Health among people were identified. Especially the women and children were facing many issues relating Heath matter.

Concerning the fact the Free Health Camp and Health/Hygiene Exhibition especially for women and children were conducted.

On the 12thof February, team reached to the destined location which is 58 km away from Kathmandu. It was very difficult for the team to reach to the location. The village is very rural and there is neither the vehicle road nor the electricity.

On the 13th Feb. more than 200 villagers visited the camp to get the service. The team noticed the presence of teenage girls in big numbers so the Awareness Class was provided by the Gynecologist. 40 teenage girls and 50 children were benefited through the Awareness Class.

In the next day i.e. the 14th Feb. the critical condition of 8 patients was identified and they referred to the District Hospital. Gynecological checkup for the 65 women was conducted and General checkup was conducted to the other villagers. Medicine was distributed after the check up with Doctors’ prescription.

Villagers were very happy and thankful for the team and their Service. In total 533 villagers were benefited by this Medical Mission.

We are humbly thankful to our Almighty Father by whom we could touch those lives.

God be praised for showing the ways and making us enable to reach out for those people who were in need of help.
