Smile On Child Face

Kavrepalanchok  District is a district of Bagmati zone, administrative headquarters of this district is Dhulikhel, situated in central development region of Nepal. Pachakhal Municipality -1, Mayalpani is one of the part of Kavre district where one primary school named Shree Jana Udhdar Primary School is located. Almost 60 students, class 1 to 5 are doing study. According to survey finding of 2016, most of the students and parents did not take concerns about their oral hygiene and sanitation because of their financial deprivations.

School principal Prem Bisunkhe told, “almost all parents were diligently work to submit their everyday food because of low economic condition of family, consequently they cannot keep hygiene and sanitation is in most priority”. Thus, CHFN team decided to organized one day free dental and general camp in that school for taking concerns about their health after communicating with school teachers. Medical camp main motive to amplify health awareness to the community people through health related activities, that’s one of inevitable things in human life.

On 21st May 2017, CHFN medical team (One Dentist, one general Doctor and three medical Nurses) went in that school and took class for 15 minutes related to importance of oral hygiene for children, then provided one brush and toothpaste to each students and teachers after teaching how to brush effectively by Dentist Jeevan Rai. “After brushing teeth, we saw unique smile on child faces” said Arjun Basel (School teacher). One student named Sarita Mijar said “I will do brush everyday according to I learnt today by Doctor”(with showing brush and paste).

In other side, 158 were directly benefitted through general check up. “Many people were come by walking 1 hour ups and down way just to checked their health” told Raju Mijar (School teacher). Thus that’s our Great accomplishment to serve needy people of that village. Principal Prem Bisunkhe told “it’s our great privileged to received medical services through CHFN medical team”. At the end, they gave thanks to all CHFN team with joyful heart.
