Project Assistant – 1
Contract Types: Annual Contract
Reports to: Project Officer
Project: Something to Eat Everyday(SEED) School Of Life (SOL)
Project Location: Lalitpur-Godawari Municipality
Experience & Key Competencies:
● Intermediate or diploma level with 2 years’ experience or bachelor’s degree in social science or any discipline with 1 year experience in community mobilization field.
● Good social mobilization, community facilitation and interpersonal skills.
● Excellent communication and coordination skills.
● Committed to travel to remote areas.
● General knowledge and skills on data collection and conducting surveys.
● Knowledge on computer skills; Email, Internet, MS offices.
● Willingness and enthusiasm to work with children and marginal communities.
● Two wheelers driving license will be an added advantage.
● Willingness to work in a team and take initiative.
· Assist in project planning, budgeting, and implementation processes.
· Support the team in conducting assessments and data collection during baseline, midline, and endline surveys.
· Carry out regular field visits, including visits to children, families, and relatives, and facilitate communication to maintain strong family and community linkages.
· Collaborate with local schools and communities to monitor the progress and well-being of reunified children.
· Coordinate with local government bodies and relevant stakeholders for project approvals and ongoing monitoring.
· Ensure all project activities under SEED/SOL are implemented in alignment with the organization’s core objectives.
· Mobilize and supervise SOL tuition teachers, ensuring effective delivery and quality of learning at the tuition centers.
· Assist in ensuring all legal requirements, compliance processes, documentation, approvals, and MoUs are properly completed and maintained.
· Maintain and regularly update records of beneficiaries, stakeholders, partners, government departments, and other relevant organizations.
· Prepare and submit monthly and event reports, and document case studies and success stories in a timely manner to the line manager.
