Masali is a 35-year-old woman who lives in Pachkhal municipality -5, Kavre. Few years ago, her economic status was not good as the income from farming a small piece of land they owned did not even provide them with a proper meal. However, things for them changed after 2017.
In 2017, Masali took part in a goat-farming training organized by Compassionate Hands For Nepal, where she received 7 goats on revolving basis as a support. From her previous savings she purchased three more goats. With the goats breeding and multiplying, Masali have 17. Soon 5 female goats are going to give birth to other.
“Before CHFN support on goat farming, we could not even afford stationeries to our children. But today we earn well and have become independent. Our lives have changed; we are very happy and grateful to CHFN.” Masali said.
