Notice of Auction Sale

Compassionate Hands for Nepal is planning to auction the below mentioned used equipment, inviting interested parties or individual to participate. Given below are brief details of the items along with minimum bid price for purchase.

Note: CHFN used equipment and supplies will be available for inspection from 30 to 31 Jan 2024. Interested bidders should print BID forms Annex 1 or should collect it from CHFN Office, Satobato Lalitpur Nepal.

Bid Submission: No later than Thursday, February 1, 2024, by 5 pm at CHFN Office Satdobato Lalitpur

Bid Opening date: Friday 2nd February 2024, 1 PM onwards

Terms and conditions:

  1. Any Individual or party must provide a quote for interested items but an Industrial sewing machine should be quoted in a set. The total amount for the entire goods will be considered as the highest bidder and the contract will be awarded accordingly
  2. Warranty: The goods will be sold “as is-where is ” basis. There are no guarantees or implied warranties for the condition of the items. No refunds or returns permitted after sale
  3. Bidders are urged to inspect the goods before submitting the sealed bids. The successful buyer will be informed and goods will be available for pickup from the CHFN office in Satdobato Lalitpur.

Terms of Sale: The auction sale will be made to the bidder/s offering the highest price based on the offers received. The winning bidder (buyer) shall pay the proposed amount in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) by cash deposit or into the name of Compassionate Hands for Nepal, Siddhartha Bank Ltd. A/C No.01817585687. Payment shall be made within two working days after the successful bidder is informed.

Payment is required to be made in full before the ownership title is transferred. The successful bidder shall bear any banking fee associated with the bank transfer. Moreover, payments related to the transportation, insurance, customs duty or sale/scrap tax and any other costs shall be at the expense of the buyer. CHFN will provide a receipt that will serve as an official bill of sale. The buyer must pick up the goods within 1 (one) working day after the ownership title is transferred. CHFN shall bear no responsibility for any maintenance or other service charges for the sold goods. The buyer will be fully responsible for all formalities with the local authorities concerning this purchase.

4. Bid submission: Please submit your bid offer using the form attached hereto as Annex I (Annex I Should be submitted in printed form with sealed envelope). In case of similar quoted prices among bidders, awarding will be based on lottery system.
